Thank You Southside

   Here we are on the third issue of Discover Southside. It has been an exciting first few months. We have traveled around Southside a lot, meeting and talking with people. We have seen so many things we didn't realize Southside had to offer. And we have made friends.

   We are very pleased with how things are going so far. The response has been great! The comments, support, and input from readers and the community have been wonderful.

   As a result of this input and your suggestions, several features are taking shape for future issues.

   We are currently working on features about the revitalization of the downtown areas of several Southside towns. As new businesses and new technology come into the area, we want to be able to let you know. Many people have let us know about attractions, or points of interest around the area. We will be covering these places as time allows.

   At the suggestion of readers, and groups around the area, some changes to the website are in the works too. We are planning on several permanent pages with relevant information about Southside.

   These pages will include, links to local clubs and organizations as well as links and general information on towns and communities around Southside.

   Things keep getting better and better.

   So, we want to take this opportunity to thank everyone.

    The writers who have already joined us, and those who are putting together future material. The people who have put up with our endless questions about the area. The people who have given us great ideas about how to make Discover Southside better.

   We especially want to thank the readers!

   Ever since we released a "Sneak Preview" in May of this year, the hits on the website have doubled every month. That is more than we could have hoped for.

   What can we say except Thank You Southside for a great beginning!
