The 18th annual South Boston Harvest Festival will come alive on Saturday, September 26, 2009 in the streets of Historic Downtown South Boston, VA.

Bring the entire family, young and old alike, and stay for the day. Visitors will enjoy the live continuous music from the four entertainment stages. Over 75 crafters line the streets with their handmade crafts. Children’s activities will include scarecrow making, pumpkin painting, Skeedaddle the Clown, Magic by Chaz, bounce houses, and pony rides. All ages will enjoy juggler Paul Miller. Paul packs magic, juggling, and comedy into his high-energy spectacle.

New this year is ventriloquist Ron Johnson. Ron’s humorous blend of ventriloquism, comedy, magic and songs will keep you on the edge of your seat. And don’t miss the High Energy Magic performance of Speed & Thro. The only zany, crazy, on the edge of being out of control magic and illusion show you will ever see.

Visitors to the Wine Garden will enjoy wine tastings from Premium Virginia Vineyards.

Both children and adults will also enjoy the Tinker’s Car Club Cruz-In, the fire safety smoke house & fire trucks from the South Boston Fire Department and having their picture drawn from the caricature artist.

You will never be hungry with the wide variety of food that is available throughout the festival.
